7 elements of an effective playroom!

The Montessori method offers a very reasonable way to organise your child's play area by rotating and replacing toys and activities on the regular basis. However, there are a lot of aspects that come into place when considering what is important for child's development and how to make their play time most effective.
Here are some tips to help to boost your child's imagination and general development.

* child's play area should

HAVE A LOTS OF CHOICES
FOCUS ON ARTISTIC PURSUITS
1 An area for drawing and crafting

2 An area for painting

3 An area with musical instruments

4 A dress-ups area (a wardrobe hanging with costumes)

5 An area for building with blocks, tubes, gears, Legos and cardboard boxes

6 A math and science area with a toy microscope, for instance.

7 A book corner

I purposefully did not extend this list any longer, because my goal was to make it look as simple and as clear as possible. There are as many variations of playrooms as there are families, but I like to follow these design elements to build upon.
